Gading Aulia

“Kami suka Bapak disini” or translated into “I love when you are around with us, Mr. Gading”. Being a teacher in a remote area in Indonesia has certainly changed his perspective. Living and breathing the same air with these kids and people open his eyes that if we do the right thing with our power and interest, we can make a difference. Ever since, his mission is to assist people in learning through any kinds of learning intervention. He has contributed to various teacher-training, women empowerment, youth empowerment, and community projects and services. He specializes in designing and implementing training programs.

His dream is to get involved in a small piece of somebody’s learning journey. When he knows that one of the kids that he taught succeeds in overcoming all the barriers and now pursuing higher education, it is his source of inspiration and happiness.

Besides being a full time student he expands his experience by volunteering in a not-for-profit Ruang Belajar Aqil, based in Indonesia, working as a graduate intern, joining students clubs, and exploring thrift shops for his passion in fashion.
